Universal CityWalk – Orlando Florida’s Best Entertainment Complex
In addition to the two theme parks, the Universal resort offers a mega entertainment complex called CityWalk. It’s located on the other side of the lake from the two theme parks, and serves to connect the parks and hotels to the parking area.

Everything here is larger than life. There’s a 20 screen movie theater, great shopping, a selection of clubs and nightlife, and half a dozen restaurants.
Looking for family fun? You can see the Blue Man Group perform here, catch a movie, or let the kids loose in one of the interactive fountains. There’s even a karaoke club.
Prefer some more grownup fun? Have a Hurricane at Pat O’Briens, a signature martini at the Red Coconut Club, or a margarita at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, complete with shows, singing, and dancing. The Hard Rock also features a live music venue that regularly hosts some world-class acts.

For a great meal, check out the Hard Rock Cafe, Emeril’s Restaurant, or the classic Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, with its clever Forrest Gump theme. You’ll find yourself quoting the movie all night long.
Ready to shop? Check out the enormous and well-stocked Quiet Flight Surf Shop. There’s also the Endangered Species store where animal-loving kids will want to linger. The Island Clothing Store and Fresh Produce both have clothing for the whole family, including a Tommy Bahama selection. There’s also a Fossil store that sells watches, bags, and clothing. Of course, there’s also plenty of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure merchandise too.
Like me, I’m sure many people love a deal. Visit CityWalk after 6 pm for free parking. Want to see a movie? Universal usually has a movie and dinner deal available that includes a movie ticket and a meal at one of the CityWalk restaurants for $21.95. Ask about this offer at the ticket booth.
